Director of Development

Sparks & Wiry Cries seeks a part-time Director of Development to join our woman-led creative/administrative team. The successful candidate will work closely with Sparks’ co-directors, board, and staff to identify, engage, and steward donors. Duties include overseeing donor relations, managing the donor database, recording and acknowledging gifts, creating reports on individual and institutional donors, planning and executing donor events, and providing other support as requested by the SWC co-directors and board in their fundraising efforts.

Sparks & Wiry Cries has been sustained by successful grant writing since its founding in 2009. The Director of Development will work in tandem with our grant writer and executive committee to create a long term budget that gives foundation to flourishing artistic projects.
