The Art Song Magazine is an online repository of work associated with the performance and composition of Art Song. Our magazine is a growing resource for musicians at all levels. Our articles explore current and historical issues in art song performance and composition.

Our academic articles are reviewed by an editorial board comprised of established scholars in the fields of Musicology, Vocal Performance, and Collaborative Piano.

WRITE FOR US

We seek articles from advanced graduate students, established scholars, composers, and performers on the topic of Art Song, with a special interest in works that engage critically with contemporary repertoire and works of underrepresented peoples in the Classical music discipline. We accept both op-eds and academic articles. We sometimes solicit articles on themes related to our sparksLIVE programming.
